SPIF SPACE:
NEO-TOKYO COLLECTION
In 2019, SPIF SPACE released an apparel collection inspired by one of the most influential anime films of all time, Akira. The branding for the entire collection carried common themes throughout the products, the promotional materials, the media, and the in-person retail experiences as well.
SYRACUSE ESPORTS
A MODERN TWIST ON AN EXISTING BRAND IDENTITY.
The goal - and the challenge - was in taking a legacy brand like Syracuse University, and creating a new sub-identity for it. The branding needed to be recognizable to the student body, but also could not use any of the existing mascots or imagery from the larger University canon.
What I ended up doing was creating an entirely new mascot inspired by retro video games and the school’s original mascot, and built the rest of the branding around it, as if the new mascot had been there all along.

Xanadu Games has been a community staple when it comes to providing space and opportunity for all things gaming. When the owners moved to a new location, they approached me with the desire to have a future-forward logo, mural, & branding that matched their vision for the venue.
